America doesn’t have the best healthcare, we do have the highest price

There is nothing we can do to change that.

In America, we have a decently transparent media and reasonable information exchange environment.

This is the cases verses death. 54million cases and 823thousand deaths. Which is 1.5 percent mortality.

In Canada , 2million cases 30 thousand deaths. Equals to 1.5 percent mortality.

But in Canada they have single payer healthcare. We never hear stories of Canadians going bankrupt for healthcare. We do in America. What’s more, we see people fundraising their medical bills in the USA.

GoFundMe which is a Uber of fundraising. Says one third of funds raised are medical related in the USA.

Why can’t we change it?

Because of self interests and group interests.

The people that benefit the most with our current healthcare affordability crisis have zero incentive to improve the lives of everyone else.

Infact, it is counterintuitive for them to do so.

We will not be seeing change any time soon. People in America will go bankrupt and we blame ourselves for not being able to afford treatment. When truthfully speaking, it is more expensive than anywhere else.
